Nomad Paloma is a free hiking and travel blog. To help cover the costs of running it, some links to tours, tickets, hotels, transport and gear are affiliate links.
If you click one and make a purchase or booking, I may receive a commission. The price you pay is the same either way. I currently work with Travelpayouts, its partner brands, and AllTrails.
How I choose what to recommend
I recommend places, routes, and services because I think they are useful for hikers and travelers, not because of how much they pay. I only recommend things I have used or would use myself.
Some affiliate programs pay creators higher commissions, but that often comes with higher prices for you. I turn down those brands unless I truly believe they offer extra value that justifies the higher price.
